RETURNS

The following is Local CPAP’s policy for Returns and Warranties:

Auto and Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (APAP & CPAP) Devices with built in humidifiers: Local CPAP only offers returns under special circumstances. Refunds will be 100% of the original purchase minus a $100 restocking charge. If the customer has never used CPAP therapy before, and it is the first time they are using CPAP therapy, then we will offer a return up to 7 (seven) days from the day of purchase. This initial CPAP use must be documented on their prescription along with a submitted recent sleep study.

If the returned unit passes inspection and is in the same brand new working condition without any scratches or any smell of cigarette, cigar, or other home odors, then the purchaser will receive a refund of the purchase price minus a $100 restocking charge. The refund will be issued either in the form of a company check that will be mailed to the purchaser or through reimbursement of the credit or debit card used for the initial purchase, both up to 21 (twenty-one) days of receiving the returned device with a refund processing fee.

Shipping costs to and from the purchaser are not covered or refundable. The purchaser must contact Local CPAP by mail, fax, or the form below by the 7th day from the date of purchase to explain that they are returning the purchased device. The purchaser is responsible for shipping the device back to Local CPAP. Packages must be sent “signature required”, which will verify our receipt of the returned item. The device being returned to Local CPAP must arrive no later than 10 days from the purchase date.

Local CPAP will honor the manufacturer’s warranty on these devices if the device is faulty due to manufacturer defect and not physical abuse or mishandling. If covered by the manufacturer, we will send a replacement device back to the purchaser, once the original device still under warranty, has been received.

Bi-Level Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP, VPAP & ASV) Devices: Local CPAP does not offer any returns on Bi-Level Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP, VPAP & ASV) Devices. If the devices are faulty, they can be returned with a replacement sent back to the original purchaser, terms and conditions may apply.

Local CPAP will honor the manufacturer’s warranty on these devices if the device is faulty due to manufacturer defect and not physical abuse or mishandling. If covered by the manufacturer, we will send a replacement device back to the purchaser, once the original device still under warranty, has been received.

CPAP Mask Interfaces: Local CPAP offers a 30 Day Return Policy on any unopened CPAP Mask Systems. The returned Mask Systems are subject to a 20% restocking charge.

Local CPAP offers a 7 Day, one-time exchange for certain CPAP Mask Interfaces. The purchaser must contact Local CPAP by mail, fax, or the form below by the 7th day from the date of purchase to explain that they are returning the purchased mask system. The purchaser is responsible for shipping the mask system back to Local CPAP and making sure the package is sent with “signature required”. The purchaser must ship back the mask system to the Local CPAP store that was originally purchased at or shipped from, and it must arrive no later than 10 (ten) days from the purchase date. Once the mask system is received by Local CPAP, another brand, style or size mask will be shipped back to the purchaser. We will allow the purchaser to exchange a single mask. Local CPAP will not honor the exchange if the mask is damaged from physical abuse or mishandling.

Local CPAP offers a 30 Day warranty against manufacturer defects, but there is no warranty for mask wear and tear.

Accessories (Not Machine or Mask Systems): Accessories, including but not limited to batteries, cushions, seals, nasal pillows, bed pillows, headgear, water chambers, power supplies, and cleaners, are not exchangeable or refundable under Local CPAP unless explicitly stated otherwise on your invoice or receipt.

 

Bulk Refunds: Local CPAP does not take any returns over a quantity of 1 (one). Any exceptions are subject to approval.
